Delete your Lu Kyone account

Delete from the app

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Read the warning, confirm that you understand, and type DELETE.
5. Verify ownership using your password or Google Sign-In, then select Permanently delete account.

The app sends the request to Lu Kyone's trusted backend. Firebase Authentication is deleted only after the data cleanup completes. If cleanup fails, the authentication account remains so the request can be retried.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@lukyone.com with the subject “Account deletion request.” Include the sign-in email and enough information to locate the account. Do not send a password or one-time code. We will verify ownership before deletion. The in-app path is faster because it verifies the signed-in owner immediately.

Data deleted

• Firebase Authentication account after successful cleanup.
• User profile, email/phone copies, nickname, profile photo, private contact data, blocks, and profile subcollections.
• Owned Sender and Carrier posts, their private contact details, post photos, and nested post content.
• Owned Cargo business listing, service areas, pending updates, entitlement records, and Cargo photos.
• The user's support conversation and messages.
• Chat images uploaded by the deleting user when referenced by a shared chat message.
• Reactions made by the deleting user and owned promotion requests, work items, and assignments.

Data de-identified or retained

• Shared requests are closed and may be kept in de-identified form for 24 months. The deleted participant's identifier is replaced by a one-way pseudonymous value, names and shared contacts are removed, and related shared chat content sent by that user is cleared or replaced.
• Reviews may remain without direct account identity to preserve marketplace and dispute integrity, unless removed for policy or legal reasons. Review text authored by the deleted user is removed.
• Reports and related moderation evidence may be kept for 24 months for safety and moderation, with the deleted user's identifier replaced by a pseudonymous value.
• Comments and replies on content owned by somebody else keep their thread position, but the deleted user's name and identifier are replaced and the text is removed.
• Minimal deletion-operation status, counts, timestamps, and an error code when needed are retained for 12 months for reliability and audit integrity. The record uses a one-way pseudonymous subject rather than the account UID.
• Administrator audit logs may be kept for 24 months. Other records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for an active safety investigation, dispute, fraud prevention, or a legal obligation.

Timing and limits

The in-app request normally runs immediately, but large accounts may take longer. Copies in service-provider backups expire according to the provider's backup lifecycle and may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems. Deletion cannot remove copies another user lawfully created outside Lu Kyone. Administrator accounts must first be transferred or have administrator access revoked to avoid disabling marketplace controls.
